Course Description

The PCP Foundations course is an introduction to the prehospital care environment and the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This course includes theory and laboratory practice at the Primary Care Paramedic level of training. Students develop critical thinking skills and decision making through simulated exercises and become comfortable with collaboration, delegation, scene control, and patient care.
