Course Description

The student will learn about the safety legislation, regulations and industry policy in the trades; climbing, lifting, rigging and hoisting; hazardous materials and fire protection; communications and trade-specific safety; materials and fastening devices related to the trade; hand, shop and power tools; measuring tools and oxyacetylene equipment, heating and cutting.
