Course Description

This field training component will engage the students to work as part of a team and to put in practice concepts learned in Survey Theory, Mathematics and Graphic Communication. Upon completion of these series of field labs, students will be able to demonstrate competency in using conventional survey equipment, perform calculations in the field, produce accurate and legible field notes, and be able to make pertinent decisions as a field crew.
