Course Description

This course provides the necessary information to fully understand satellite positioning from a theoretical perspective. Topics covered include Global Positioning System (GPS) structure, errors, framework, equipment required and surveying techniques and methods (static, real time kinematic, etc.). The last two topics in this course are focused on GPS modernization and the Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS).
