Northern Lakes College’s innovative Crane and Hoisting Equipment Operator training program received a financial boost from Advanced Education which has allowed the College to purchase six pieces of state of the art equipment and expand the fleet of equipment used in the program. "Our government knows the creation of education and career opportunities depends on innovative approaches to training throughout the province. The mobile unit has tremendous flexibility to bring training to students in northern communities, remote locations and provides a true hands-on approach to learning", said the Honourable Marlin Schmidt, Minister of Advanced Education.
