This award is open to Apprenticeship Trades program students: Carpentry, Electrician, or Welder
You must reside within the Northern Lakes College designated service region
You must include a short written statement of up to 500 words answering the following questions:
- Why is a workplace health and safety program important?
- What is every person's health and safety responsibility on a worksite?

AWARD INFORMATION

Award: $3,300 (3)

Criteria:

Awarded to students in Carpentry, Electrical, or Welder Apprenticeship Trades
Student must be a resident of the NLC region.
Demonstrate financial need.
Extra consideration will be given to Indigenous students.
In good academic standing.
Submit a short essay (up to 500 words) responding to the following questions:

Why is a workplace health and safety program important?
What is every person's health and safety responsibility on a worksite?

Deadline for application is June 30 of the academic year.
