Communications and Information Management

Course Description

This course develops students' use of communication as a two-way process which includes both gathering of appropriate information and distribution of appropriate information. Information gathering includes both formal record keeping and informal listening skills. Information distribution takes into account audience, message and medium. Students will be equipped to sensitively gather and distribute HR related information from, and to, internal and external entities.
