Business Administration

Do you want your own business or are you seeking an administrative role in accounting, marketing, or human resources? The Business Administration program includes the study of economics, marketing principles, computer applications, business plans, proposals, bookkeeping, and interpersonal communication.

At NLC, we understand our students need the flexibility to balance work and home. Our Business Administration program is flexible enough to fit into your lifestyle:

  • Take classes from home, work, or on-campus
  • Delivered online, through Supported Distance Learning
  • Apply as a part-time or full-time student

Students should apply at least 4 weeks prior to the term start date.

Graduates of this program have gained successful employment with businesses, government, and community organizations such as Financial Disbursements Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Cashier Shift Supervisor, Payroll Clerk, and Office Administrator.

Successful completion of the program prepares you to enter the workforce or continue your education in our Human Resource Management Diploma.

Students don’t have to do every program full time. They can start with one or two courses and see if post-secondary education is for them. There’s no need to speed through college. At NLC, students can do what works for their schedules.”

Computer Network Specialist

Get into the fast-growing field of information technology. The Computer Network Specialist program prepares you to build, maintain, and support a small business network. With the increasing digitization of the workplace, the demand for those with expertise in networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, information technology, and troubleshooting is on the rise.
